11:00, 14:00
Sunday, 25 Jan
11:00, 14:00
What to expect...
A hands-on craft workshop where children make a felt bookmark using wet-felting. Kids work with sheep’s wool (fleece), soap, and water, layering and shaping coloured wool into a design inspired by a folktale, story, character, or an imagined place. The facilitator shows the felting steps, then children rub and roll the fibres to turn the soft fleece into strong felt. It’s a tactile, table-based session with water and soap, so expect damp hands and a bit of mess. Each child leaves with a finished felt bookmark to take home. Public sessions are age-grouped: the 11:00 workshop is for ages 5–7 and the 14:00 workshop is for ages 8–12.
