Dundrum On Ice is a seasonal outdoor rink set up on the Main Street outside Dundrum Town Centre. Families check in at the rink, get fitted for skates on site and head onto the ice for a 45-minute session. Sessions start on the hour, with a short break between slots so staff can clear and check the ice. There are marshals on the rink to keep people moving in the same direction and to help nervous or first-time skaters. Younger children can use penguin-style skate aids when available, and there is space at the edge of the rink to hold onto the barrier while they find their balance. Parents who don’t want to skate can watch from the side and take photos. The rink runs in most weather, but sessions may be adjusted or cancelled in severe conditions.
