Bees: Interactive Outdoor Theatre
Free outdoor theatre at the Botanic Gardens where three giant bees build a hive and kids follow, copy or join in. Part of Dublin Theatre Festival.
Good to know
What to expect
Three human-sized bees take over the lawn in front of the Orchid House, and kids decide how close to get. They can follow the bees, copy their movements or invent their own, play on the big blue and yellow hive and the round, colourful mats, or turn themselves into bees with paper and tape. Nobody speaks; the sound comes from speakers. Other families move around the space too, and you can take a break or leave whenever you like.
