Kids trace Halloween back past the costumes to Samhain, the ancient festival it grew out of, with Dublin's Historian in Residence for Children, Lorcan McEvoy. You find out which traditions stuck and why, then play the old Samhain games yourself rather than just hearing about them. Come in a Halloween costume or dressed as somebody out of history. Suits 6 to 12 year olds, with an adult staying alongside.
