Female-only, intergenerational dance workshop for girls 7+ and their female relatives. Move together in a circle to Arabian rhythms, guided in English and Spanish.

What to expect...
A gentle, welcoming dance workshop created especially for girls aged 7+ and the women in their lives — mothers, grandmothers, aunts, older sisters. You gather together in a circle and move to Arabic rhythms, following expressive steps rooted in Arabian dance. The session is guided in both English and Spanish, and the group slowly builds a shared story through movement and music.
It’s designed as a warm, judgement-free space where women and girls can move freely and connect through dance. Expect simple sequences to follow, moments of group movement, and a relaxed but focused atmosphere. Children do need to be able to listen, copy short sequences and stay engaged for the full two hours. Wear comfortable clothes and plan to dance barefoot or in non-slip socks.
