What to expect...
A family workshop at Dublin Zoo’s dinosaur area where an educator leads a short, structured session with hands-on activities. Families meet “Stan”, a full-size Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton, and hear about what made T-rex a predator. You’ll also look at the dinosaur/bird connection, then go into Dinosaur Discovery for a practical dig where kids use tools to uncover replica fossils and handle them while the facilitator explains what they are. It’s aimed at children aged 3–8 with a parent/guardian alongside, with a small-group feel and a clear start/finish. Your ticket includes admission to Dublin Zoo, so you can continue exploring the zoo before or after the session.
