What to expect...
The Dublin City Council St. Patrick’s Festival Family Village turns Wood Quay Amphitheatre into a lively outdoor family space across three days of the festival. It is aimed at families with younger children and brings together games, performances, workshops and food vendors in one place.

The Big Dig – A Viking House Excavation

Children dig through a mock Viking house excavation and uncover artefacts while learning about life in medieval Dublin.

The village works best as a drop-in family stop where you can watch a short show, try an activity, and then move on when children are ready. General Family Village activities do not require advance registration, but some individual sessions may be ticketed or have limited capacity.
