What to expect...
A dinosaur-focused Easter event at Dublin Zoo running on 4-6 April 2026. The main public activity takes place from 13:00 to 15:30 around the Great Lawn and Discovery & Learning Plaza, where families can visit T-Rex and jeep photo booths, see the baby dino petting and feeding zone, join giant dinosaur games, and catch the live DJ. On the same dates, there is also a separate paid Egg-citing Dino Workshop with the Nutty Professor at 10:30-11:30 and 11:45-12:45. In the workshop, kids watch a dino egg hatch, help feed baby dinosaurs, try extinction-themed volcano experiments, dig for fossils, build a dinosaur, and make a fossil to take home. This listing is best treated as the dinosaur strand of Dublin Zoo’s Easter programme rather than the full Easter schedule. It works well for families planning a dinosaur-themed zoo day, with the workshop as an optional extra for children aged 3 to 12.
