What to expect
A free Halloween event for 6 to 12 year olds at the Rediscovery Centre in Ballymun, part of the Otherworld Festival. Kids journey down through the layers of the sea, from the sunlit surface to the deepest trenches, past glowing predators, giant squid and strange deep-sea creatures, meeting pirates, scuba divers and marine scientists along the way. The scariest monster comes last: real-life plastic pollution. It's billed as spooky but educational, and runs in small timed groups.
