Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka and friends are back on stage in Igglepiggle’s Busy Day. The story follows Igglepiggle as he sets off around the Night Garden, listening out for his friends’ funny sounds until he finds them all.
The characters are brought to life in full-size costumes alongside magical puppets, with the familiar music from the series woven throughout. It runs just under an hour with no interval, which suits toddlers and preschoolers. The moment many little ones wait for is when the Pinky Ponk makes a very special flying visit across the stage — expect lots of pointing and excited whispers when it appears.
The theatre notes that the production may include strobe or flashing lights, smoke and haze, so keep that in mind if your child is sensitive to lighting effects.
