Language Explorers early years - Little voices, big tales!
Free multilingual early years workshop at Rua Red for children aged 3 to 6 and their adults. Families use wordless picture books, storytelling, art making, and conversation to build stories together.
What to expect...
A creative multilingual workshop for families with children aged 3 to 6. Each session starts with a different wordless book, using the illustrations as the starting point for the story. Children look at the pictures, imagine what is happening, invent characters, and help bring the narrative to life through storytelling, conversation, and art making.
Artist Paola Invernizzi leads the workshops. Families are encouraged to share the languages and stories they carry with them, while the sessions are guided through a shared creative format built around images, curiosity, and imagination. An accompanying adult must stay with each child throughout.
The series runs at Rua Red South Dublin Arts Centre in Tallaght. Sessions are free, but booking is required in advance.
