Good to know
What to expect
Macnas brings Fiáin, its night-time parade celebrating all things wild, to Dublin's North East Inner City for the Bram Stoker Festival. Floats with speakers pumping out deep, steady bass and a small live band wind from North Great George's Street past Mountjoy Square and down Gardiner Street as dusk falls. You watch from the pavement (most of the route has no barriers), and it takes about 20 minutes to pass any one spot. Kids are invited to dress up, face-paint or make a mask inspired by Beastly, the children's story woven into the show.
