A terrarium is a jam jar that works like a tiny greenhouse, holding warmth and moisture around the plants inside. With facilitator Gobnait Ní Néill you layer up drainage, then soil, then planting, and decorate it however you like. Kids can bring a small toy, ornament, pebble or stick from home to set inside. You carry the finished jar home, so it needs careful handling on the way. Ages 6 up with an adult.
