Spring Daily Guided Tour
One-hour guided spring walk through the National Botanic Gardens, looking at seasonal buds, blooms and planted beds while hearing the history of the gardens. All ages welcome; children under 12 go free.
What to expect...
A one-hour guided walk through the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin, led by an expert guide. You move through the gardens looking at what is in spring shape that day: buds opening, flowers coming into bloom, and planted beds at their best. Along the way, the guide explains how the gardens developed and why plants matter in everyday life.
It’s a walk-and-talk tour rather than a workshop. Families, friends, couples, and individual visitors all join the same slot. The pace is steady and conversational, with regular stops to look more closely at plants as you go. Meet in front of the Visitor Centre, outside the café, where the guide will collect the group.
