Free family drop-in workshop at the National Gallery of Ireland inspired by William Blake: The Age of Romantic Fantasy. Families create an imagined magical monster using collage, drawing and colouring.
Sunday, 26 Apr
11:30-13:30
What to expect...
A free drop-in workshop in the National Gallery of Ireland's Shaw Room with artist Karen Peakin. Families create a new imagined magical monster by combining shapes and collage with drawing and colouring, taking inspiration from William Blake: The Age of Romantic Fantasy.
This is a drop-in session rather than a fixed class. You can arrive during the workshop window and stay for as long or as little as suits. All materials are provided, and the Gallery says families with children of all ages are welcome. Irish and English are spoken during the session.
This is a straightforward hands-on gallery activity linked to the William Blake exhibition. It suits families who want to make something creative without booking ahead.
