What to expect
Author and illustrator Alan Nolan talks about where the ideas came from for his new book, The Grand Central Cinema Club, set in Dublin's picture houses in 1937. Then kids learn to draw two of its characters: film idol Tripp Hazzard, the Lonesome Yodelling Cowboy, and his insufferable child-star sidekick Dottie Bright. It finishes with a cinema quiz to test their movie knowledge. A talk, a draw-along and a quiz for 8 to 10 year olds, played for laughs.
