Artist in Residence Kate Escolin teaches kids to draw cartoons: designing original characters, drawing animals, then building the background art those characters live in. By the end you have your own cartoon world down on paper. This one runs for 9 to 11 year olds without a parent in the room, so it suits a child happy to be left to it. A permission form arrives by email beforehand.
