Large suburban park in Dublin 18 with Cabinteely House at its centre, a big adventure playground split for different ages, and long paths that suit buggies, scooters and balance bikes. Families loop the paths around the pond and meadow, stop at the sand and water play, and use the pitches or trim trail when the weather is dry. The playground areas are separated for toddlers and older kids, with climbing frames, slides and a teen section a little further along. There’s a cafe spot in the courtyard beside the Grainstore Youth Arts Centre and lots of green space for picnics or kicking a ball. On Sundays the park gets lively with the CoCo Market in the courtyard area. Works well for toddlers up to tweens, and for parents looking for space to walk or push a buggy without traffic. In summer, families stay out late for picnics and evening playground time when the gates stay open later.
