Families come for baby and toddler groups, storytimes and a big selection of picture books, easy reads and audiobooks for younger kids. Older children and teens use the study spaces and public PCs upstairs, while parents find quiet corners to read newspapers or work. Staff are relaxed about kids moving around and will happily help you find books by topic or reading level. It suits quick after-school visits as well as longer spells on rainy days.
