Tallaght Library (County Library, Tallaght) sits in the civic square beside The Square Shopping Centre and the Civic Theatre. Inside there is a bright children’s library with low shelves, soft seating and plenty of space for buggies and toddlers on the floor. Older children tend to wander towards the Tech Room with PCs, music equipment and a 3D printer or up to The Loft, a separate teen area. Families use the study tables for homework, browse the shelves and drop into regular toddler mornings, storytimes and craft sessions. It works well as a calm indoor base before or after a trip to the shops or nearby playgrounds.
