What to expect...

Bord Bia Bloom takes over a large section of Phoenix Park for five days of gardens, food, talks, shopping, live entertainment and family activities. It is a full-day outdoor festival, so expect plenty of walking, busy paths, queues at popular areas, and lots of different zones to dip in and out of. Families can head for the Budding Bloomers area, browse the show gardens, watch demos, sample Irish food, shop for plants, and take breaks in the picnic and food areas.

What's on during the festival:

  • Show Gardens: designed gardens to walk through and get planting ideas from.
  • Stage schedules: talks, panels, demos and performances run across the festival weekend.
  • Budding Bloomers Family Area: children’s activities and performances, with the schedule changing across the weekend.
  • Phoenix Park playground: large playground behind the Show Gardens.
  • RTÉ live from Bloom: live music, radio shows and talks in the Picnic Area.
  • Bloom Buskers: live performances on the Budding Bloomers Stage, with percussion instruments for children to join in.
  • DCCI Irish Craft Village: craft demos and drop-in family activities including weaving, wet felting, patchworking and quilting.
  • Dunnes Stores Quality Kitchen Stage: live cookery demonstrations from Irish chefs across the five days.
  • Seafood Kitchen: fish and shellfish cookery demos.
  • Food Village: Irish food and non-alcoholic drink producers, samples and products to buy.
  • A Taste of Bloom: three-course Garden View Restaurant lunch curated by Neven Maguire, booked separately through Ticketmaster.
  • Seafood Terrace: bookable indoor seafood dining experience.
  • Country Crest Restaurant: casual all-day restaurant with no booking needed.
  • Food Trucks: outdoor food areas around the festival site.
  • Nursery Village and Plant Emporium: plants from Irish and international nurseries, plus Irish-grown plants near the Show Gardens.
  • Plant Crèche: leave purchased plants while you walk around the festival.
  • Indoor Shopping Pavilion and Outdoor Retail Area: home, garden, lifestyle and gardening exhibitors.
