What to expect
EPIC opens after hours for a self-guided walk through the story of Irish emigration, in the vaults of the CHQ building. You stamp an EPIC passport in each gallery as you go. The galleries that reopened this year add a 28-square-metre interactive LED floor showing everything from currachs to steamships and planes, and an 'Isle of the Senses' room with the sights, sounds and smells of Irish landscapes. Staff are around to answer questions.
