What to expect
Sheilagh Fox of RUGs runs a beginners ukulele session for kids, working through simple songs from the festival songbook. Kids strum along together rather than perform. Complete beginners are fine, and there should be spare ukuleles to borrow if your child doesn't have one. It's the only workshop on the festival programme pitched at children, and it sits at the easy end of the day's line-up.
