Airfield celebrates St Patrick’s weekend with a mix of farm activities, crafts and short drop-in moments spread across the estate. Families wander between the farmyard, gardens and house, stopping for things like cow milking and milk tasting, Storytime sessions, and Overends House tours. Crafternoon activities run during the day so kids can make something to take home. On Saturday the farmers market adds extra food stalls and a lively atmosphere around the courtyard. It works well as a relaxed day out rather than a single scheduled event — you move around at your own pace and dip into whatever catches your child’s attention. Expect outdoor walking between activity points, farm animals nearby, and plenty of space for kids to roam. Dress for the weather and comfortable shoes as most of the visit happens outside.
