What to expect

Why did the war start, how was Ireland caught up in it, and what happened to children while it went on? Dublin's Historian in Residence for Children, Lorcan McEvoy, works through those questions with 9 to 12 year olds, then hands over to them: everyone makes their own zine and writes poetry about the war. An adult stays alongside for the hour.
